Server totally dead now? its been offline 2 days and no word from GM's anywhere, ..............Shame, It was a good server.

Sorry about the time its taken to reply, The server is now down, i have stopped hosting the server because in the MSSQL DB it shows that a GM has been making items for players, there were 2 GM's in game including me and i can confirm it wasn't me that made them, that leave's 1 GM left to choose...

The server is back online. The server didnt actually crash, when i got home i saw a guy from the cable company in the street, he said there has been problems with the network this morning and everything should be fine now. Sorry about the downtime. Chris

I have hosted servers before and never had problems, i guess its just a matter of trust. p.s: im upgradin the server pc to Windows Server 2003 Enterprise now.

i can install a ftp server so you can access your files to do updates etc, and you can use the remote server starter to start/stop/reboot your server. Hope this helps

Thanks tomo but that doesnt have a built-in bittorrent client, ive been looking at the ICY BOX IB-NAS-4220-B, this has everything i need but its abit out of my price range to say it doesnt come with a harddrive, i mught just have to forget the bittorrent idea and go with tomo's suggestion. Cheers
