I'm upset my quest system won't work correctly although the script is fine just doesn't want to work so it's ethier no quest system or I wait until there's a fix (if there ever will be).

Works fine until 40-49 after that there's nothing and I don't want to add another command just for the next level range it's just silly.

Still I'm unhappy about not being able to add a full quest system in

Maybe a off topic question and a weird question to, but I'm from The Netherlands and we just had this huge gig here, it was called 'Emporium; The Golden Ages' ( In Dutch Emporium; De gouden eeuw ) Did u get the server name from that or....?

Normal Mob quest's done up to 100 will start on bosses then it'll be story line quests.

Hello all.

A Question To All:

Would people like a quest journal?

Basically it'll be a statistics page for how many type of quest's you've completed or does a journal sound better, difference is quest journal will be just for quests and nothing else whereas just a journal could feature both quest's and normal play I'm still thinking of ideas for this but the main ones I've come to is the following:

Quest Journal:

Mob Quests completed : ##
Boss Quests completed : ##
Story line quests completed : ##

Normal Journal:

Mob Quests completed : ##
Boss Quests completed : ##
Boss Killed : ## (may be better if the harder ones have their own statistics)
Story line quests completed : ##
Secret areas found : ##

What this will do is the following:

Having done x amount of one of them you are rewarded with x item this will* take the amount of points need'd for the reward.

Example:

I have 530 boss kills and I can either trade for two 250 point rewards or 1 500 point reward, the difference would be there could be a greater prize from the 500 point so if I was to buy either of them I would be left with 30 points.

What this will do is encourage people to do the quests and not stand around in the town(s).

tbh this looks awesome , cant wait to play , in regards to ur journals i think a normal journal would suffice , reason being people get to certain lvls then wonder of the quest path and do there own thing , it all depends on what the quests actually offer in the long run , and maybe whether they can be replicated over and over again , but ye cant wait to play and gl with it

The story line won't be repeatable but the others can be such as monster killing and boss killing, the journal is more of statistics page but you get a reward for doing the quests in the long run as well as completing them as normal, it doesn't force anyone to do it however they won't get the rewards it brings.

I rather players be busy than standing in a town saying "oh am bored blah blah blah..." as everyone gets boring of leveling all the time.

Just a little info update on M2H TheGoldenAge

There will be two types of quest's on this server that will be in play:

One will be using the @Quest Feature starting from level 0-200 , From when people hit level 20 there are Boss Quest's that lead up to level 200!!

and soon to be added a Custom Storyline Quest xD

To see a screen shot of the @quest start screen you will need to log onto the Forum: http://www.m2heroestga.com/Forum/viewforum.php?f=27

The other Quest system will be based using "Npc Location / Encounters"

What i mean here is, you will need to talk to a "start NPC" that will tell you a little about what has happened around Mir ect.... and how the previous Heroes have Retired... anyway
He will send you on a journey to meet 10 NPC's around Mir,
Upon meeting these NPC's they will tell you that they will need help them.
In Return you will receive a Prize and a Unlocking of the next NPC.
The higher the NPC the better the prize.

This has abit of work that needs to be done on both Quests and all updates will be on forum as progress

Hiya all !

Just a little update on The Golden Age

As i was explaining in the above i have been making an optional system much different to the main Quest System.

Well...

This will require the player to go to a certain Npc ,Once spoken to you will then Recieve a task.
The task will entail a boss hunt to find unusual items that boss's seem to possess!

Once the player has completed his/her task you will recieve a wealthy sum of GameGold
also to receive a huge sum of Exp depending on the Quest you required to do at that time.

Upon receiving the GameGold you will also unlock the next path to a another Npc,
This will be indicated when the quest has been completed as :
<HINT>:
You will then receive a small message explaining how to find the required Npc.

Here is the start of the NPC Game Gold Quest

Npc Name: Story

This Npc will be the start of the Quest.
Story has all information about the Monsters and their history
Where they are, what there doing and how to stop them!

Here is a little example of the Npc Story:

Next i will show you the Quest 1 task Npc:

QUEST 1

After Quest Completion
The Quest will go through stages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Then:

QUEST 10

As i said above the Quest's will go up in stages :

By "Stages" i mean:
Boss Mobs will Become (x2) times the Monster/s original stats also the Experiance earned from the Boss itself

Example:

Stage 1 = x2 zumataurus

Stage 5 = x10 SeaLord

Stage 10 = x20 Fight the GM's !!!
( A Provence full of Charater Ai's being GameMaster's)
(Only on M2H TheGoldenAge)

Time's Quest Map
Quest 1 (x2) - Quest 2 (x4) - Quest 3 (x6) - Quest 4 (x8) - Quest 5 (x10)
Quest 6 (x12) - Quest 7 (x14) - Quest 8 (x16) - Quest 9 (x18) - Quest 10 (x20)

x1 being the Easiest and x10 being the Hardest

This is not going to be easy for any player!
and will need alot of personal keyboard attention :P

What is the Quest "Stage 10 x20 " Fight the GM's ...!?

Well being as it is the last Quest to that System .. that follow's the player along with the story to it,
( i won't go into to much detail as i will spoil it)
This story will pan out to where the player will have to gather his guild, friends foe's ect to help fight A Provence full of Charater A.i Based GameMaster's

They will have Full Controll over Minion's (Boss's) and will send them out to attack in mass.
These GM's are not to be taken lightly...
Alot will be needed to take them all down ..
so i suggest players make a plan / strategy to defeat overcome there superior power!

GM's to Defeat:

1* MythRohan
2* Pete107
3* Deserai
4* Collosus
5* Appie

Been reading through this thread and it all looks really good mate. I hadn't played a Mir server in almost 5 years until recently, been keeping my eye open on here for a new server to tempt me to play again full time! Things still on track for the server to be up by the end of this month?
