We're not asking that, we're asking should he be allowed to advertise as i'm quite sure he'll have donations from the get go.
I voted no, personally I have nothing against servers asking for donations as long as they go towards the running of the server. (Dedicated server/web hosting costs for example.)
Jesus you clearly stated that your other servers where running on your home connection that the donations payed for you holiday as well as other things. Thus I believe you should not be allowed to advertise here.

if i wanted to host a server, you wont be able to stop me 
i move soon away from the county im in, my ip's will change etc etc.
i plan on having a dedi's setup before the server/s are launched.

Read the poll question, nobody wants to stop you running a server
So if i can provide proof that they are ran on dedicated servers from the moment they are online, i'll be allowed to advertise?
But the only reason i am even being questioned is because previous servers were ran from my home - i realise this caused problems and this time round want to do things alot differently
