As you will be aware, our primary domain name (lomcn.co.uk) has expired. We hope to have this resolved as soon as possible but in the meantime we are still live and accessible via our secondary domain (lomcn.org). An email will be despatched to all users this evening, as well as notices on our Facebook and Twitter pages in order to notify as many people as possible but if you could pass the message on to your peers this would be most helpful.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

/LOMCN Administration

Update: The .co.uk domain has now been renewed for a further 5 years.

how come the old domain is taking so long to renew? Surely as soon as you pay for it again it should activate within 24 hours?

Beachy is the only one with control of the .co.uk domain and he is awol. I own the .org and will share the details with the other admins so this doesn't happen again. Hopefully we get the .co.uk back for another year or two but chances are unless we get control we'll be phasing it out.

I wonder if this site will still be round in a year or two?

For as long as there's still 1 person interested in Mir, Lomcn will stick around. It has been here for about 12 years, i don't see it going any time soon.
