The pots cant keep up with the speed in which DoubleSlash burns MP though. Possibly both need doing.

DoubleSlash uses too much MP. 12 per hit. Soon evaporates mana pool. Needs halving imo.

now this proves exactly why u do nothing near a contructive feedback for a server , and u act just like a buffon .
been reading ur post on all server comments , and all u did is moam , say that u know the how a perfect server should be and throw **** at GM's for not listening to your wisdom.

for example just look on war tdb , which uses 20 MP per hit , yet amazing how u only complain about urself and the easy fix is make ur class better .
a constructive feedback is what Wond did , he came with a general ideea , not just : buff me and im okey **** others and their opinion .

anyways Luke goodluck with server , use my files wise and don't listen to all the buffons around here ^

You moron our small group hasnt got tdb yet so he couldnt post about something he didnt know. Ppl tend to give feedback for things they know aka their class problems. Is that too hard to comprehend?

so you guys know everything about this game and are too lazy to go throu repetitive stuff like lvling spells , but yet u don't know tdb eats 10 mp on charge and 10 mp on land hit? meh fair enough its kind of a new spells anyways been around in mir for mhm 10 yrs .

You keep bringing TDB up when someone gave feedback about doubleslash.

For some weird reason u think we are crying. You really think we care? All we want is a proper server to play. No more no less. We dont care if that server is called gravity tga chronicles 5heroes AndreasMir or whatever as long as its fun. We might sound rude or that we want a server just to fail but we only speak the truth in hope someone will hear us and fix obviously broken things or bad ideas. We gain nothing if a server we think is bad fails or succeeds.

We dont suggest ideas? The things we usually mention have quite obvious fixes without the need to give a solution. I mean if some1 says "XX spell use too much mana" or "pots are too low" u dont need to suggest an idea to fix that do you?

Let me give you proper feedback for this server then from my point of view:

First let me start by saying that imo opinion there are 2 types of caves in every server. The mass killing ones and the harder ones you slowly kill 1on1 but give greater exp (like pb). Usually the first is used by wizes and the second type by everyone else. So now let me start:

-Server starts nicely with quests arround province and in omacave. Suddenly tho u hit lvl20 and the next tier of quests is in low-bc and wt. The wt quest rewards you at lvl20 with lvl34 items for some reason and the low-bc require huge number of kills which is pointless for any class but wiz.
-Exp on these caves is just wrong for the melee classes considering its a bit higher than omacave and province mobs but way harder. On the other hand there is the high-bc cave and the ST that are way harder but way more rewarding exp wise (6-7k exp) so if someone wants to just fly through lvls just goes there and kills slowly 1on1. Also the item sets go from lvl20 to lvl34 and then from lvl34 to lvl42 so no matter in what cave you are lvling in you are not missing out any items since there are barely any.
-When you get to a higher lvl such as 35+ and you start killing ST and bc mobs way easier if you are a wiz you start mass killing em. If you are any other class you continue killing em 1on1 like always and i havent found another pb-like cave that i kill slow but i get rewarded for it with like 30k exp and as a result wizzies lvl 10x faster than wars-sins-taos.
I know its normal for them to lvl faster but in most servers the rest classes could go say pb and kill hard high exp mobs and kinda keep up.
-Sins like always barely have any spells and are a right click class but for some weird reason doubleslash is lvl34 making lvl20-34 extremely painful with just normal attacks(i already did that so i dont ask for my own benefit but i find it wrong).

No matter if i posted these like that or in a more "rude" way its still feedback server team needs to consider instead of caring about my way of typing. No offence i know you guys get excited quick, but server you want? make your own? more than 2 ppl in a game and these days mir servers are completely different places. Old mir has gone and remember it well.

Get used new servers or dont play pretty simple... cant like everything and have everything you want tbh.

Tons differences in classes, spells, caves, items and way they work ie not same stuff over n over like you complain lvling skills because done it so many times before (i hate lvling spells) but if thats way they have the server then?

now this is better , and tbh on the leveling issue (haven't actually been ingame to check content ) but i find quite obvious for wizzes to be ahead in leveling (atleast by few levels) as they have mass attacks and others not as much as them .
i think all these recently moams about wizzes like " i'm war 53 and he is wiz 57" why cant i lvl as fast as him came from mhm ben's servers maybe ? i remember there all classes had mass spells for leveling (which was a nice feature for hr) but i have the impression that every1 now expects each server to give mass destruction skills to every class .
btw this is my opinion , not a feedback niether an argue with u squall

Imo after 14yrs of mir in certain things there are no different approaches. There is the right and the wrong ones. Afking shouldnt be promoted/needed in any sort of way be it mining, lvling spells or whatever but anyway too much has been said about this even though its stupid.

You got us wrong. We are not looking for a specific hard/easy/solo/grp/high-rate/low-rate/euro/custom type of server. Making a server that makes sense and is fun has nothing to do with features. You only need very few basic things. Drop files that make sense, leveling that makes sense, enough caves to hunt in, enough items so every1 in sz to have different kit. Thats all in my eyes. But unfortunately ALL of em are REQUIRED. If 1 is missing then server fails simple as that.

And thats not something influenced with mine or urs taste. Its fact that servers that lack any of these just fail and time has proven that.

Edit: You could be right and that im not into mir anymore and nothing satisfies me. But still i cant believe that the current servers online are close to some of the past or that they are well made.

This thread is starting to teater on trolling/flame wars now - try and keep it on topic with a dew less insults please.

As for feedback - I can tell you that Luke listens to feedback form the actual players. Those people posting on here who haven't spent a lot of time in game (and by that I don't mean logging in for the launch/beta, and then not logging in again), know that Luke does listen to players concerns, and spends his time making things as right as he can.

You have to remember, when running ANY game server, not just Mir, you get pulled in about 20 different directions, by different people asking different things.

For Gravity, this is doubly hard as there is pretty uch only Luke on the project. If you want your voices heard properly - then go register at lomgn and post on there.

I get this weird stutter/lag while playing. I have an extremely fast connection (albeit from the US). Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I get this weird stutter/lag while playing. I have an extremely fast connection (albeit from the US). Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Try pausing your horse porn downloads. At least that was my issue . . . . .

Yea wish it was that. I can have many Mir Chronicles running at once and have absolutely no issues but 1 Mir Gravity and I get weird stutters/animation lag. Unfortunately do not have any other private Mir servers to compare so I do not know if Chronicles is just unique and I am spoiled or there is just something unique about gravity's server/client reqs.

I also actually can't confirm if it is latency or rendering, I will look at this tonight.

Server is nice but it has some major problems that need to be sorted very fast.

1) Cave stats/exp. 99% of your caves have no meaning at all. Everyone from lvl20 till 55+ lvls in VoD making every other cave useless. There is litterally no exp progress over caves at all.
Why PSC gives 10k exp when in VoD you can lure 30 mobs that die easier and give 7k exp?
Whats the current purpose of ZT? As a lvl 34 ish cave its wasted since as mentioned everyone hunts in VoD for exp which is plain better. ZT was always one of the single target dps classes to lvl in but with 2-3k exp that just aint gonna happen.
Why is PB wasted as well? Why not make it way stronger than it is now and give mobs a nice ish drop file along with 25-30k exp to make up for the lack of aoe for certain classes. Before you think im trying to just ask for more exp all im asking is HARD mobs with DECENT exp that worth the time of sin/war/tao. PB was always their place to lvl up considering their lack of AoE.

2)Drop files+items. From what i've heard there is a single set till lvl60 that ONLY drops from MK. Explain to me please whats the point of rest bosses other than some books perhaps? To get lvl34-42-54 kit that drops all over while leveling anyway?
Why not add a chance of those items to the rest bosses as well to make em worth killing or add even more kits/random items since boss hunting is the main aspect of mir. Even pvp revolves arround boss hunting and drops that again are non-existant.
Thats making a great cave like BDD worthless other than hunting for say TDB (or FF if it drops in there). You can add a few more items, add em to most bosses and that would make hunting plain better.
Again im not asking for easier drops or anything. Im asking for a reason to hunt bosses except MK.
There is BDD,MTK,BL,EC,ZT,Khazard,OK,OKS that should worth hunting. Not just MK. The idea with * items is nice but its not enough for ppl to camp/farm bosses. Its just not rewarding.

Before u jump to me saying im rude or wrong (considering i have seen some more "rare" lvl38 items that are just not enough and imo they suck) just read those things carefully instead of being biased towards me because of not liking me.

Both those 2 things are vital for ur server and will decide it will last or everyone will quit in a week.

well tbh this server looked good but i wont be giving it a try. serious comments about levelling skills just getting blasted out as being the same as giving everyone prorings and pararings at level 7... they dont compare.

the only reason i can think of for people to keep these stupid numbers for skill levelling is - a, to sell xp boosts for irl cash. b, to make the server numbers look greater than they are (everyone AFK'ing overnight to level skills).

tbh 2k xp per skill skill level is the same to me as no TT/DE in shops. stupid and pointless apart from the above.
