The school(primary) my son goes to are going to start programming, not sure what other 'languages' are available for learning, the 'language' my lad's school is going to be teaching from is found here https://scratch.mit.edu/
As you can guess it's all basic stuff, I went through the tutorial with him last night, he found it to be fun.
I also showed him the same thing in C#|Unity.

Wish I was introduced to code at an earlier age, it's a good way forward for the syllabus however they want to promote healthier lifestyle but sitting someone down in front of a computer and programming is the opposite of that? I guess you can't beat what the industry is currently doing especially how technology is evolving at the moment.

LOMCN HQ with Tai, eating bagels.
I wish they had taught it during my time in education - it would of been something I could of used every single day of my working life.

Instead I got lumped with Religious Studies and French...... unless I start banging a gorgeous Hindu from Lyon, I cannot see how either of those will ever be beneficial to me.
