I have one PC with win7 x64 and sql 2014 and gsp works fine, but if you want stability until all the bugs has fixed i recomend to you some holley version, 3.38 not have cheats but its very basic, dont have glows and xtra stats, the most used is holley 3.55 and has a lot of info here about that files.

its your choice ;)

The error is about your odbc, recheck odbc settings.

With 3.38 one called mir3_121 or something i remember.
Remember, ptw are small maps, to use big maps you need to put the JoB maps version, check for a eiserver job version & client and take from this the tilebase and maps ;)

Still nothing, and im sure the odbc is set up ok!

Use the test inside the odbc wizard to discard, but the error says cannot connect using the odbc because are something wrong, is talking about odbc architecture, probably you are configured the odbcs to a newer version of sql can be supported by these versions.
For that use sql 2000 or sql 2005.
Recheck the odbc, edit one db access odbc and follow the wizard-setup, remember to use the "sa" account and put manually the correct Sql server and default DB, and in the end, says something about a test odbc, press and see what happens.

I hope my english of the mountains are ok for you xDD haha
