One of the reasons Stanley found themselves in financial troubles was down to their notoriously low crowds. However, Dunbavin believes that the Accrington faithful are amongst the best in the country.
“We are not blessed with the biggest crowds, but you would never think that once the Ultras have started. Once they start they don’t stop and the noise from them is brilliant.
“Accrington Stanley is their lives and the players know that when they pull on that shirt how much it means to them fans singing their hearts out home and away. As a team, I would like to thank them all.”
