Couple Questions...

Hi all,

im new to this so sorry if i ask way to newby Q's

I downloaded the LSJOB.rar from Kaori mir files (thank you for the files!)
and also downloaded the MIR3JOB-setup.pdf i've followed the tutorial and everything but i still have some questions cause it dont work...

1) How do i start the game? rofl....

I dont know how to make a client for the server i made...

2) How do i make an account for myself to play in my server?

yes i am a noob....

where can i find the setup >>> clientfile1 of setup.txt?

Its Job Server... If u got Mirworlds or LostWorld client u need only to change mir.3ini...
But if no:
U need Full Client. 2 links under: u can choose and downlaod this which u want

and put it to your map folder in game files.

Next Download http://www.geocities.com/beerwolf8433/3g.zip
and use it to open the game.

20:32:48:[Exception] TNormNpc.Run.. A NPC has false Position.
you find them in the Envir folder in the File Merchant.txt
or you don't have a Map for this NPC

I belive Client you find on Kaori Server ...
ACC Creator I belive same

i am in now in character screen but when i make character and click start game screen stays black....

this is frustrating ><

i had a euro client and installed it and then exchanged it with the 3g file
en changed all ip 2 my ip...i still have that problem in eiserver

in the !setup.txt file. this is a Old system don't work. If check the Mir3.exe on your Server with the Client Mir3.exe over CRC ...with your Login Problem it can appier if you don't have good set up the GameGate (RunGate) false IP or False Port... or in the Account DB the IP and Ports false or the Server Name diff ... Have fun

also i do not have problem with login problem i have problem with starting the game i get that zoom in but then everything goes black and
SelChrGate, Gamerservergate and logingate all disconnect....

I can make a character etc that all good only getting on the maps is the problem ><

To explain:

The !Setup.txt has the location for the client file - this means simply MIR3.exe, you can shove Any old mir3.exe in there and it makes NO Difference as the Version is in the CruelDragon.INI file, this client thing is a throwback to Mir3 2.9.

Now onto your next problem - as you have worked out and esp if you read the thread I made, the Login Srv/gate takes care of your Logging in - this works, you managed to get in. The SelCharGate / DBServer is what takes care of your selecting a Char. Now when you press Start, it goes off to Rungate and tries to connect internally to your Server, your setup at this point is not right as it never gets to the Server part and for Info, when a Gate is finished with you, it disconnects you from that part and moves to the next gate, so this is NOT an error.

Go through the files, the Database (Account / PUBIPS etc) and the Setup - the Server name and the IP HAS to match up or the server wont have a clue what to speak to. You have bascially missed a Server name or a IP somewhere - I have lost count of the people who swear blind they have checked everything and later say they forgot one file...

@Sinco my Server is running more then one Day and more then 600 day ;-)
