Dividing midi files ...

Ok, im not sure how to put this but anyways here goes.

I have a roland g70 keyboard and i have found some great midi files i want to put on it but the problem is the midi file is 1hour and 30minutes long. I just want some bits from that midi file. Now my question is, would it be possible for me to extract just the parts which i want from it???

Use something like soundforge to edit , thats all i use when i want bits out..

any of you know by any chance where i can get decent midi files for roland g-70? i looked onto some german fan keyboard website but got like 2 out of 50 that i liked. I mean something like frank sinatra - my way i got it but its an example

if you go here http://www.freepolyringtones.co.uk/convertmidi.htm you will find a nice lil program i used to use back in the day when phones didnt have mp3 ringtones its pretty simple instructions are there but all you do is move the slider where u want to cut up to then press the sissors icon easy
