graphics card

my friend needs a graphics card. wierdly she doesnt seem to have one with the pc she bought.

can i buy any graphics card?

its running on a good new pc. amd 3000+, high ram, xp.

would prefer a radeon, no more than £100, cheaper if possible. just needs to be good enough to run games which say they need 64mb gcard.

any thoughts on a good one? quick delivery if possible.

i got Radeon 256 meg, £50. its gd. btw is she using plug in ones? i wud asume that if she didnt av one. look on Amazon and other sites. i got my radeon off amazon so try ebay n that.

yeah its not gonna be onboard. ill fit it on her mb as you would normally.

i simply want a g card which will let me play games.

The motherboard either has an AGP or PCI-E slot, you can't just pcik which one you want.

Post a CPU-Z pic of the mainboard tab.

i would say its probably agp not a pci express graphics card slot because amd xp's have been replaced by sempron in like the past 6 months to a year
