having properties troubles

Hi lomcn

Ok its kinda hard to explain so bare with me

Files such as .wil .wzl ect seem to open with either RPG Viewer , PakViewer or DataViewer...
Now im such a tit

1: I right clicked the .wzl or .wil
2: Clicked Properties
3: Then i clicked Change ... "Opens With"
4: Clicked the icon for RPG , Pak and Data Viewer like a fool

Now all my icons have this stupid symbol on them , and no matter what i seem to do i can reset it back to default
asif they had never been touched ...

But as you guessed it .. i failed

Therefor im here yet again with a plea for help! :P

Any info or direct help would be grand

You ticked "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" by any chance?

goto control panel and find "set default programs ".

It should contain a list of everything you've set to run a default program.

If its not there, just right click on the file again, go to "opens with" . and select "choose default program" again.

Dont think you can set it back to none, but you can change it to something else.
