hello iv never made a private server and dont have a clue wer to start. im looking to download the latest version of mir and make a private server. im not wanting to put it on line i just want to faf about with it etc. please show me the best thread that could guide me throught it qwite easy lol. your in wroung area and i wouldnt make a 2.3 (DM2) server as you need to code id start with the foundation files and work up from there

Firstly your post could have been made with more direction, what version are you looking to use?

We currently have 4 options available to us:

1. 1.4 files.
2. 1.9 Plumewind Files.
3. 1.9 Ledu Files.
4. DM2 Coded to near 2.3 standard.

As for the fourth option then there is a dedicated forum which can be found on LOMCNs main page and that will help you (read the stickies) to sort yourself out.
