Hmmm, Help!

Urrrh, guys, I was downloading some game emulators and i rebooted because my pc/net was going slow and i came back to find out everything had naffed.
It might be a virus, but all my .exe have turned into .Ink, thats about it really, i'll probably find more when my programs boot up. i can only get onto internet.

yeah it is, but it turned them into files that windows could not read, I re-installed windows now, I hope it doesn't happen again :/.

Well, I got NOD32 at my side now, I should be okay :/.
