How good is Steam?

Hey

Since I'm an offline gamer, I downloaded and installed Steam today just so I can try and get the remastered Quake game.

How is Steam so far?

Is it worth it?

is it free?

Who can tell me a bit more?

Steam was released 12 September 2003. It has grown so much since then. It is totally free and less intrusive than say the epic launcher. You can find so many free to play games if thats what you like. It also has the big named games that you can pay for (if you use a cd key site you can get them via steam for a lot less) But yes totally free and is in my opinion the best home for gaming
