how to use a laptop

just wondering im on my new laptop and the only way i can use skills is pressing the Fn key and then F5 ect how do i change it?

When you bind a skill on your F11 page it gives you the option to use just F5 or Fn + F5

That giving you 16 binding keys instead of 8, im guessing you bound it to the bottom ones (Fn + F key)

No spence, your on about ctrl or y to use additional keys. He is talking about when you want to use the F keys at any stage you need to press fn as well as F key but if you wanted to use one of the additional keys you would need to press 3 buttons at once lol.

im sure somewere that you can make it so u dont have to use Fn
try alt+ctrl+Fn
edit
then try just pressing keys to see if it works, without fn they still buttons just different ones, ilke dimming your screen or turning down volume depending on the model
