hi guys i am wondering if there is some one out there who is king enuff to help me set up a 3.55 server i dont have the files and i dnt know where to get them from so is you wanna help add me to your msn on [email protected]

You are attempting to put a public server online when you don't really know how to? I would suggest you get one working before you start thinking about dedicated servers for it. Anyway..

There are a couple on there that offer dedi-boxes, but not 100% sure if they do what you need to run Mir off.

I shared a Sort of Done 3.38 but it was nowhere near perfect (from from it), remember this is one person doing the files - speed is as fast I coudl be bothered. I then Shared how to get 3.40 Cracked and Hacked and Working, totally Unlimited Users online (3.38 is limited to 110).

MythOnline also re-shared the re-worked files, I've not looked at them but they def are worth a Look. 3.55 is 100% Chinese, its upto you to mix and match / re-translate etc to get the thing working as it should. I am sure there is a lot of new Scripts in there not in 3.38 etc. Dont foget though to compare and re-do the STRRES3G file as it contains more text and the 4th Horse of course.

00default.txt has a lot of new stuff in there, such as Auto Exp, Gifts every 30 mins and so forth. Again you have to compare, rename and re-work it yourself, not that hard.

Thin aboout this, you want to Buy a Dedicated server to run a Mir3 3.55 Server, which you are struggling to get the files for or Working, what about the More Advanced stuff later on - such as Adding in the new Mobs, New Armours, New everything else, fixing busg and god knows...

Honeatly the world does not need yet another 5 min wonder Server, set up the files local, play as GM yourself and have fun for 5 Mins - this is after all what your after right?

i'm still working on translations for the 3.55 mainly the db quest stuff that needs finnishing atm i dont even need chinese prc installed anymore :P

I do recommend people start messing with 3.38 first cuz it's translated and proven to work. Do it on your own computer and use 127.0.0.1 lol I had to re-emp on that one.

I have never used 3.55 but I believe there's a loader or a crack or keygen you have to run which some people hate. Well once you get 3.38 working, you can replace the server with 3.55 and see.

Last thing... Backup your db and files... You will need them.

then you shouldn't start one... just download and play one of the servers in the ads forum.

if you don't know how to make a server... which part of the server? did you look at the server setup guide?
