Hi all,
i am new to this and need some help.

okay my Questions is;
if you got the original mir2 on your pc and start up a private server do you have to redownload the original mir2 if you want to play on the original one?

Simple answer is no.

To play a private server you change the IP Address to the IP of the private server (The Private Server owner will provide this).

In some cases, you will need an exe commonly more with the 1.9servers.

Jus rename the file and copy and paste it.

If you look in the server help section, you will find a thread called "The One Thread You Will Ever Need" that has mirrors to the files you need.
