I've got the 7600GT 512MB and it runs 99% of the games availble and doesn't even clock the speed on it.

But yeah 8500 should run pretty much anything, my 8600 se factory enhanced doesnt struggle a bit with rohan and i'd guess that AoC was around the same sort of graphics.
