$750 though, screw that :s

When it gets to the UK it will probably cost something in the region of £451,000,000. Damnit :( America gets all the breaks.

Anyway yeah, the reason I posted was to try and find out if anyone knows the 3d mark score those give in SLi? With a FX-57 and top end RAM? Must be near 15k? Anyone know foeshaw?

You'll need a separate box just to house the GPU and it's cooling.

Don't forget Super SLi Mark 183. So you'll need to rent a house to house your GPU. Then there will be the octopled core AMD processors, which need a heat sync roughly the size of a fridge freezer.

LAN parties will be a thing of the past, you simply use one of the billion satellites plaguing the skies to hook up your machines and play until the end of your existence, eventually resulting in the demise of mankind.. sex is no longer enjoyable, but hooking yourself up to your GPU and having virtually real sex with your dream babe is the future. Whilst the user sits there gaining a pound a minute on the interweb pizzahut, which makes virtually perfect food.

I can imagine it now.

Mine came yesterday (256 mb version), I'll upgrade in about a month either another of the same for SLi or this 512 and stick the 256 in my other computer depending on what will give the best power boost.

Havn't had a chance to test it out yet, my computer should be up and running tomorrow morning :D, just cleaning up wires and stuff now :)

:doggy!:

And that cooling is crazy.

18K for 05 with an FX-57 @ about 3.9GHZ and the cards @ 794/1944.

Price of the cards should be going down soon or they might not go down at all, rumor is the cards are incredibly short supply.

Jesus, wat res? Must be bigger than 1600x1200 surely?

I get about 7.6k on 05, which i'm kinda upset about :P but meh, I chose the 4800+ over the FX-57 for a reason. Besides, my 7800 is only 403mhz.. which is poor compared to some of the other 256's. I'll overclock it some day, when i'm not scared.

The res is the stock test, I believe 1024x768.

How is your 7800 clocked @ 403 core? That's lower than stock. Mem bandwidth helps more with the vc.

Yeah the 7800 I bought was lower down the price range, thus the specs were a little more ****ty.
