You don't need to forward ports for an offline server. How ever to open the ports for an online server put 7000 in start port and 7000 in end port and put your internal ip bit in the local ip addy, do same for ports 7100, 7200.

Edit : well thats for mir 2 sorry i have no idea what ports mir 3 uses, did't realise this is mir 3 section sorry.

Basicly, i think his running a king server, so what you need to do is put any name in name collum eg. mir, then its start port eg. 7000, and end port is 7000 also. If you have port 7001 and port 7002 to portforward, you can simply put start port 7001 and end port 7002.

You can port 10 ports max. so use it wisely. Hope i helped.

what you need to do is look at your .INI files and write down the ports they use forward them so for port 7000 it would be
name - start - end- protocol - -ip
mir - 7000 - 7000 - both - 192.168.0.*

do this for your main login gate ie reg server if ur using 3.55 or ei if kings

simples ;)

no only if you wanna make it live offline server u 127.0.0.1 as all ip's no port forwarding needed do not use local ip ie: 192.168.0... coz it wnt work

with no ports forwarding USE 127.0.0.1 as ALL ips works best for offline server

on that threat i saw, you must set everything on the right side properly. Server name is fine, mud3 directory should be something like c:\mud3\ and eg. sharepatch should be c:\mud3\share\
Your eigate is pointing at the !setup so i recon its that.

thankyou lina and everybody for all your input. I have now fixed the problem with the advice lina had gave me to change all the
file names in the !setup.txt , this was the missing piece i was looking for. Much appreciated for all support and help given.

What application are you trying to forward your ports to? Its more useful to know the actual port number rather than the application itself.
