ok here we go lol
iam running
amd 64 3200+ socket 754
1.5 gig ram
asus k8vmx mobo (800mhz fsb)
160gb hdd 8mb cache
80gb hdd 8mb cache
256 sapphire radeon graphics
etc etc
i had 512mb corsair ram pc3200 400mhz ddr, when it was booting it was saying dramclocking = 400mhz
i installed 1gig single stick of crucial pc3200 400mhz ddr making my total ram 1.5gb, but now it says dramclocking = 333 mhz
why is it now running my ram at 333mhz and not at 400 ? both sticks of ram are ddr400 not 333, if u take out the 1gig stick it d ram clocking rtns to 400mhz , if i take out the 512 and leave the 1gig in it says dram clocking at 400mhz but with both it only runs at 333 , iam really puzzled lol , the mobo only has two spaces for ram and both are now full, cant seem to find a fix in the bios to change this , has anyone else had this prob and how did you solve it ?
