Removing Middle Tiles

how do i remove middle tiles?

just to get it straight.
There are 3 types, Background, Middle , Objects .
middle tiles over right background tiles so you cant go over them..
iv been editing some original maps(aka wemade), and they seem to use alot of these tiles in citys/towns.

is there anyway to delete/remove them completely?


im using mapedit which has a hide middle tiles function but it doesnt actually hide them ingame.

Basically, only way i ever figured to remove them was to use blank ones over them. However this leaves red dots i belive, never actually looked ingame.

The hide function is purley for mapedit use only, wont work ingame.

even when i use the blank tiles, it doesnt seem to replace for me :S,
by blank you mean the white ones? as every tile I use will only display on the background tiles even the white ones.. hmph.

i think i no witch tiles you mean can u post a small screenie of the part you wana delete coz some reason i neva seem to use middle tiles

only Ground and objects do it for me

Middle tile + object in corner

Middle Tiles, background + object

Middle tiles + object, and applying new tiles.

click the delete button (trashcan) and hold ctrl and click where you want to delete....

this will delete a 3x3 square. tiles which have been made solid aswell.

that doesnt work on normal tiles nore middle.
ctrl+click delete only works on objects i believe.

Trashcan only works on objects.

To remove lights, click lights, set value to 0 and pow its gone.

Middle tiles - only way i could think would be making a new custom small tile to go over.. but thats a big pain in arse. i did remove them on my BW edit ages ago, but i lost all my files coz i broke pc.

ah there the anoying ones forgot how to delete them i neva use um no more
