Its also about taste. The only games i see nowdays that sony has that nintendo doesnt are Car games or fighting games, (Not that i dont like fighting games).

If sony attempted to create a great well known long term game like Mario it could not compare to Nintendo.

And proper final fantasy's :P

Sony aint the greatest first party developers then again neither is Microsoft where they shine is with there 3rd party support which Nintendo lost when they decided to stick to carts

Oh and lots of Nintendo's newer games Like Metroid Prime where not even created in house @ nintendo they where done by 2nd party developers afaik

They've made what two games in that time? Rare aint that great they made a couple of great games on the Nintendo 64 and havnt been able to recreate it since

Wasnt final fantasy made by squaresoft? Not Sony. As most final fantasys were on the PC aswell.

Also Nintendo has one or 2 final fantasys but they aint as good as playsation versions.
