Server Error (Maybe)

Anyone know what that means?

Its not a normal error on the server screen, ... there was more..

Another error... this started after server been online for about 14 Hours. No issues seen in game. No idea what started it, plenty of hard drive space.. no Guilds made..

Got some other errors last night, this time on the run gate

[22:47:06] Chinese : IP(24.116.**.**),Chinese (18),Chinese (503)
[23:16:39] Chinese : IP(82.9.**.**),Chinese (17),Chinese (383)
[0:48:40] Chinese : IP(82.9.**.**),Chinese (42),Chinese (913)

At the same instances this happens, everyone gets kicked from server....

Any help with this or the above issues, please Reply.

Wild guesses but someone trying to run a cheat or the wrong exe?

Thx for idea.. but checked out IP's and of the 4 IP's that I have on there, 1 is GM, 2 of the others I know would not run any cheats, the other I don't know personally.

So.. more ideas anyone?

Wrong client versions, contact them and verify what files they use. There could be duplicated items too if previously there was a rewind. As for the rankings it's probably because GMs constantly chage their level up and down

I suppose asking the people at those Ip addresses to re-setup their files or even sending them cd's might be an idea.....if it is always their IP addresses it may be the problem. You could also delete their gm's and remake just incase some kind of bug on their characters....have they perhaps changed sex of characters or class and some problem crept in?

Only 1 is a GM, other 3 are players..

Will see if it happens again and what IP's its from, it aint happened again since last night.

Sorry, the rankings this was because I ran the SERVERTOP command to refresh the top 20's. it was the line below them that I was querying.

The GM definately has good files as they are mine (copy of my files), same goes for 1 other of the IP's.

Anyone have any ideas about this? It is causing issues with the server that will seriously affect the playability of Sting. I am getting it quite often and at the same instance, everyone gets kicked.


Help would be seriously appreciated.

Anyone shed any light on these settings? I was wondering if there is something on here that is getting an error and disconnecting everyone.

Tried that one.. it still kicked everyone but didn't show anything when it did it.

The errors (and subsequent server wide lag outs) are caused by people connecting from Cable ISP's. Either UK or elsewhere.

I have attempted to use the 3.38 Run Gate but that was worse, any have any ideas why it would happen just from Cable users?
