Tweaking For Mir Question

Hi all

What i want to know is, when you do the xp pro or tiny beast. power interface tweak (single core) do i just go for the grafics driver update and Direct x 11, and leave windows updates ? or do i install windows updates.

and would changeing from 60hrtz to 75 hrtz be better ? on Gfxcard settings

Virus, I doubt any of those settings would make a difference to Mir - if your monitor supports 75hz set it to 75... and always use the latest GPU drivers unless there's a compatibility issue.

Get windows xp, remove every peice of junk from there you dislike, do regedit tweaks, disable things like screen savers, background stuff, close any programmes you aint using, and if you know how to.. do ACPI or ADV ACPI

I'd say a Pentium 4 is much better than a Quad Core for mir and, of course, a graphic card with support only for directX 9.
