VB.NET help, making buttons 3D

hi,

i've got a form and in the design preview the buttons look 3D (windows vista/7 style) but when i run it they are flat buttons.

any idea how i change it so it looks the same as it does in the design screen?

bottom one is the design how i want it, and top is top if actually looks.

its nicks mir3 server files, been messing around with them for a while trying to get a few more things coded in.

aint used vb for years, but itsnt there a Flatapperance or Flatstyle section in the button properties?

there is on the individual buttons, but they're already set as standard (which is 3D) thats why it still looks 3D in the design view.
