Had no problems so far. Signs in within 3 seconds, dosent rape rescorces too badly, offline msging is a bonus and contacts are fine.

Ditto this. Prefer the design too. Feels less bloated and much more clean.

Nothing wrong with live at all, longest it's taken to sign in is around 5 seconds when I start pc, then it just signs in instantly after that.

My contacts didn't get removed, so dunno what you're on about (they stay on your account).

WLM has been having some issues lately mine takes joinks to sign in while others sign in and have no contacts (even though there contacts are there in 7.5 and web messenger)
