HOW TO CONNECT TO PRIVATE SERVER:
=====

User joins the private server:
1. The user has to edit realmlist.wtf file located in WoW client's directory. It should look something like (after editing):
set realmlist your.ip.address.or.dns.address
(set realmlist 127.0.0.1)
2. The user has to make a shorcut to WoW.exe file and edit the shortcut. He should add -console to the end of the path, i.e.:
"C:\Games\WoW\WoW.exe" -console
And then during the game in the login screen he should press "~" key (tylde) and then enter"
realmlist your.ip.address.or.dns.address
(realmlist 127.0.0.1)
3. The user can use WoW control panel found in www.blizzhackers.com. This is the most recomended solution for noobs.

NOTE: where is realmlist your.ip.address.or.dns.address you have to change this to the server's IP or DNS where are you connecting to.

WoW the real one u have to pay for is just brillant..iam loving it iam lvl 10 atm and my bro is lvl 11 its just 1 Quests after another its just so adicvite once u done one Quests u want to do another so i recommand the real verions unless this section is bout real ones then iam mistaken. But Buring Legion is the best server. And if any one wants there account lvled give me a call ;P

Lol i agree with you bud :) i got it yesterday morning took about 3 hours to install+patch >_< but was well worth it :) lvl 13 50%'ish now and loving it all the way the quests are so well done and detailed :) it's non stop fun, made a good few friends already aswell. The Maelstrom server I'm on :) Orc Warrior.

Private servers are lame due to the lack of players, leading to the lack of teamwork, leading to less fun. Some of the more fun aspects of game require groups of 5 or more.

Now if most private servers have 100+ players, it isn't going to be much fun. As you won't run into anyone.

Remember, the Alliance can't talk to the Horde, so thats quite a few team members out of the picture.

And how are you supposed to raid a town with around 4 or 5 level 60 guards attacking you at the same time?
Even at level 60, your screwed!
