That error comes up 99% of the time if your running more than 1 instance of a gate etc, check your process,s running and see if you have any duplicates running, also can happen if you dont close mir2server.exe correctly it sometimes runs in background if not .....

Which version of Mir server are you running?. MS Office uses odbc and other data hooks , e.g. access , excel. If you have re-installed then the chances they have overwritten the orginal paths etc . I am aware there are no 64Bit ODBC drivers now, I mean that ODBC is quite old in order to port it...
