I am currently having a differant problem but also simular in ways.. A Pc that i am trying to fix, has a CD-Rom drive and a DVD-Rom drive.. they both read CD-Roms fine.. but it dont read DVD-Roms. It says it has the up-2-date drivers. but i cant get any DVD-Rom game to work. Any ideas ...
