Anybody on here play this game?

Been playing and really enjoying it except for being jumped in the better zones lol,

If anybody has a clan I could join or wants to give me a bit of advice on the game, it would be much appreciated.

The game sucks after a while. Too much grinding and too much p2w.

It's a shame because it has a lot of potential.

Damn that's such a shame, been enjoying it but it is pretty hardcore when you get into the black zones and drop EVERYTHING lol

Early in 2001 I played my very first MMORPG Red Moon (orig Korean but had US server) where you also dropped everything and it didn't matter if to mobs or PK (including whatever you wore on your char) from day one, on every map. When you died, you spawned in SZ and had to run naked to the nearby storage place and you needed to have items there to put something on, otherwise had to have gold to buy it. Or you could try run back right away, naked to where you dropped.

Sometimes PKers would wait outside the storage building entrance and PK you coming in or out when you were either naked or had only crappy items on from storage.

When someone in game chat said that mir2 is is opened after beta run, September 14th I remember it exactly, I didn't hesitate. Red Moon was too much like an arcade game, addictive and risky to max.

I backed this and played it from Alpha. It's a great game. The hardcore nature is balanced by the fact that all gear is craftable by the players. Nothing is that unique that you can lose it and not feel too bad. The Black Zones add a layer of danger that you don't get in most MMOs.

Albion Online is a cross platform MMO, every mobile and pc player are in one huge server.

It is by no mean a pay to win game, 90% of the players are running around with gear that you can grind in couple of hours if that. No gear is unique and as mentioned all is craftable so the logic is to go out on a gear that you can afford 20-30x so when you die an drop to a player, it is not a loss.

If you get knocked down by a mob you can get back up in few seconds, you only get truly killed if a player kills you/executes you.

I personally played Albion online for a good couple of years and the main reason I take breaks is that the game is hard/can get boring for solo players.

If you can get a core 10-30 players that are on around the same time you are then it is an absolute blast.

The game is only grindy if you choose to level every class/weap but if you specialise in only a couple you are PvP ready in couple of weeks.

Anyone has questions just hit me up - and if there is enough interest from the community, it would be nice to get a guild and play together. The game is crazy active and is for both PvP and PvE lovers... don't let the full loot aspect of it put you off - it is a non factor once you get into it.

This is a random clip I saw yesterday that shows how fun the game can be (its skill > gear/p2w)

There is also a bunch of albion videos on my channel that you can watch but since I havent managed to get a good squad its mainly solo PvP clips

Yeah I agree, I was in a black zone guild for a while and it was really fun. I couldn't find a group of decent to play with after that and its rubbish solo. Also the design of the game is anti p2w. You can lose everything your carrying to a group of 4.2 gankers.

If anyone is playing/planning on playing, I am deffo up for getting into it.

It has been very boring solo, I see groups of 3-4 people jumping people and seems so fun LOLL

So if we have few interest lets gather in a discord (temp discord - https://discord.gg/fu6wXZ6r8u)... I also know couple of other people who are currently playing Mir and wanting to try it out but will be put off solo.

We can start off by fame farming in red zone and do few arenas.. get few days into it with whoever is interested and then can branch off to BZ and try out some PvP like hell gates / open world.
