Quest System
Main Storyline quest starting from Bichon Town and progressing to level cap (Will continue in future content patches)
Side Quests for each of the Dungeons and zones to establish a backstory for that location which may intertwine with the Main Story.
Daily Quests will be available once you reach the correct level, a varied version will unlock once you have completed a dungeon side quest this will be more rewarding.

The level cap is currently set to level 50, with plans to expand in future content patches.

Border Village is the newest addition to the current map, all new players will start here. We have moved all of the beginning side quests to this village. You do not have to stay in this village to feel free to move north or south-west to leave! All quests located in this village have been created so that they do not interfere with the main story.

Town Caves aka Skeleton Caves have been removed from Phantom Forest and Prajna Village. These are present in New Leaf Village and Bichon Town.

Multiple Changes to map and dungeon entrances/locations as part of our improved Game/Map flow.

Items can drop with increase rarity- more tiers of rarity added. When an item drops with increase rarity it also has more added stats. Bosses and crafting system have a higher chance of increased rarity items. Items in the bag are also recoloured to reflect rarity.

Removed gender requirements for armours. No more getting a nice added or rare armour but for the wrong gender. Actual item appearance still changes dependant on the gender of the player.

All normal mobs have a chance to spawn with increased strength. These super mobs are harder to kill but give increased exp and drops based from the normal version, included a higher chance of increased rarity as well as drops from an additional drop file.

Caves have a new rampage/killstreak system. Every kill in the cave/dungeon keeps the kill streak bonus going, increasing the drop and exp rate. Stop killing and the bonus resets. It is a cave wide bonus designed to help boost exp when lots of players are in the same area. Keep the streak going to guarantee some super mob spawns. Players on different floors of the same cave, ie PT 1st and PT 2nd contribute to the same kill streak for PT.

Sabuk War reworked – No more killing of a boss. Defenders will have to defend the castle and its outposts. Multiple guilds can submit for the same war, these are now all displayed in the guild panel under sieges. 3 day wait from applying if war is already submitted and you apply you join the next scheduled war. Guild buff removed. Income generated from players buying items from castles. Certain potions/liquors/dark-stones etc can only be bought from castles. Can you control SW and have your guild flag flying.

Game-shop – while the standard buff style items are available for hunt gold, we have focused the game-shop based around players purchasing item skins rather than spending on buffs and pet pots.

Removed guaranteed drop system.
Item parts drops applied to all items, new storage tab and parts go straight into the storage tab. No cap on parts storage spaces.

Removed accessory levelling system – replaced with the traditional Mir 3 accessory refining.

PK body drops are on. Higher rarity items are harder to drop from the body, your PK points + your killer's pk points can increase the chance of dropping from the body. Max 1 item can drop off body per death drop, this is increased based on your own pk points. Players will now have a chance to curse weapons when pking, removed the pk buff. No PK body drops from under level 33 (unless red/brown) and also nobody drops if you pk someone 10 levels less than you, again unless red/brown/guild war. Body drops can occur during guild v guild wars but not at siege wars.

Fame-points added to quest rewards, these can be exchanged for titles which will give stat boosts.

Hermits have been reworked. Players now roll within a range, ie dc1-3. Elements split into nature and spirit, no cap on the number of elements from hermit. Last hermit roll can be seen on the character tab. New hermit potion to reset just the last hermit stat gained. Original potion to fully reset is also still available.

Chaotic Heaven Blade and the Numa necklaces have been fully implemented into the game, including their special in-game stats (i.e Poison). Collect the parts to create powerful necklaces.

New Lord spawning mobs
, drops are based on players who have damaged the lord, rather than a guild taking ownership. Designed to make the server come together to kill rather than 1 guild dominating however pking at these bosses is allowed.

Quests – New main quest chains, side quests and repeatable quests. Mobs only show on map etc with quest tag if being tracked. Quest tracking box can also be resized and the text wraps correctly.

In the works. Changes we are aiming to have implemented for go live.

  • Added stat changer – NPC to change the added stats from one type to another. Be warned this can work, remove the added stat completely or even break the item.​
  • Added stat extractor – Found an mc ring with added DC, you can attempt to extract this DC element and then use it to try and add dc on your next craft.​
  • Pet reworked – New pet potion which will reroll just the value, ie DC0-3 it will keep the DC and reroll again. Price reduced of normal pet potions. Pets will now level up based on players exp gained, and not time spent logged in. Keep your pet fed to gain exp faster.​
  • Rusted items reworked – these can now be unrusted from the crafting menu. New Sets created for rusted item sets for each element/stat. Added in some rusted weapons as well as jewellery.​
  • Removal of the cube system​
  • Rework smelting – can now -5, -2, +2 +5, fail and break​
  • Rework weapon refine reset - remove time limit but can now break weapons when resetting.​
  • Guild buff systems – level up and unlock some guild buffs.​
  • Guild instance system – using booty from caves to be able to enter your smaller private version of the cave. The difficulty of the cave can be increased along with the rewards gained. Designed to help the weaker guilds still attempt some bigger bosses without being pk’d by the top guilds.​
  • Free pass games – Treasure island, Mir Craft, Last team standing, capture the flag​
  • Lottery – buy a lucky ticket to try and win a fixed reward or the big jackpot.​
  • Level cap implemented, will be raised as new releases and content applied. Players can still level when at cap but instead of gaining a level they will gain a hermit point. Will hopefully prevent people geeking to get super far in front, however, will reward those who do with a slight stat boost.​
  • Further client & Server optimisation​

Currently reworking the class balance and area progressions/mob strength and drops etc. Will be re-balancing area’s so you have exp zones, item zones and gold zones. Aiming so 1 area is not the best place to farm for everything. Expect to be hunting back in places like WT/BC/AST as these will be worthwhile and not just for the boss.
Drops may appear more common, however with the accessory refiner (which can break stuff) and the increase item rarity the aim is to be getting added stat items.

Daily quest system has been added in. These are a separate pool of quest. You will be able to reset your quests twice a day, however you can complete as many as you can/want. The potential pool of quest will vary depending on your level. Horses
You can now purchase multiple different looking horses (some unlocked via cash shop item), stats have been moved to new items called saddles.







Exp and drop penalty for being over levelled vs mob you are killing. 5 level buffer, ie mob level 10, level 16 before penalty starts. 5% exp per over level capped at 50% reduction and 10% drop penalty capped at 200%. If the drop rate is 1/100 normally it will be 1/300 if you are 20 or more levels higher after the buffer


Mined ore can now be sold and traded
Removed ore drops from zombies

Weapon Reset
Weapon reset changed to instant, the cost is 1mill gold, 70% chance to succeed, if fails weapon breaks. Still a chance to keep refined stats. No cooldown on refine resets time, NPC info updated to reflect it can break.

Master Refine/Smelting
Removed fragmenting of items, fragments no longer needed for master refining, only smelting stone is needed master refining now has a chance to break weapon (base 20% chance) If weapon doesn't break you have a chance at the following outcomes +5,+2,0,-2,-5 stat change NPC info updated to reflect chance to break​

Looking closely to see if there is anything i missed, otherwise its looking good!.. thank god you removed the guaranteed drop system, and item refining. Will weapon refines be the same as it is currently on zircon servers, or will it revert somehow back to the old system? Also i couldn't see anything about Parts? does that stay?

Looks polished, but when is someone going to create a server with some creativity? There are already too many Zircon carbon copies for players to choose.

Transmog and Gender armour are not in Zircon Files, this is a new addition we have added.

Looking closely to see if there is anything i missed, otherwise its looking good!.. thank god you removed the guaranteed drop system, and item refining. Will weapon refines be the same as it is currently on zircon servers, or will it revert somehow back to the old system? Also i couldn't see anything about Parts? does that stay?

Weapon levelling/refining will still be based on the same system, the only difference between zircon and classic mir3 is the length of time on refines increasing success chance.

Accessory refining is in, just the traditional mir3 style which requires items to have all the same added stats and can also break.

Parts are in, and being rolled out to every item, they automatically go into parts storage when picked up by you/pet, and a notification is received when you have enough to make an item. In the storage tab they are also highlighted when you have enough parts to make an item.

It is something we have added. It helps move the gameshop away from being focussed on buffs/exp pots (these are currently still in for hunt gold only so no p2w) and more focused on cosmetics. We will add more skins to the shop as we release content, it will generally reflect the items looks currently available in game through drops, with a few unique ones added.

Ahh sick, i like the concept.. a good little micro-transaction feature which is non-game breaking.

Some of them have changed but from start to frost it is pretty standard euro style. There are changes as to what caves to hunt at certain levels and which will be best for items/exp. Trying to avoid the rush to West desert ASAP which happens on most mir3.

After frost we we will look to put our own spin on mobs and maps/ai. These will be included in future patches.

Will you be supporting Japanese Language / Translations?

If you want to translate them I could try add them, however as you know not all system messages are coded through the translation and are hard coded in certain places so would no doubt miss a lot

Good to hear, definitely need to try stop WD farming, as it makes the server very bland, goodluck! :)

Would question the hermits being random, as on gsp I found it a chore to try and get close to Max or 3 or 4 down was amazing. All this did was mean I never re rolled the hermits to the other specs.

Otherwise looks good

There's a new type of hermit pot which allows you to reroll just the last stat. It will allow people to max up while also creating a gold sink.

I only played GamePotUSA mir3, i did try my first mir3 server (rndpro?) ruined my whole experiance of mir3 forever but i might give this one a whizz because i like old school versions of mir.

Some cool looking ideas. A bit of a crystal/zircon idea mash.

Shame it's another low rate. Also had transmogify idea in the pipeline except the "Skin" variation would drop as a really rare item from the monster that drops the base item... a bit like parts.
