@Far
Showcase more plz. Always enjoy seeing the maps you make.

Not my usual type of map, but it was fun making them.
I was asked to make some treasure rooms, on these specific tilesets, with a 40x / 50x limit and a space to drop in 3 npc's.

- If anyone in interested in having maps made, just poke me.

They don't mind me posting some shots, so here you go.

how long does it take to create a map
How long is a piece of string?
Far too many variables to give an answer, without specifics.

These took a couple of hours each, I've done pieces' of maps that take weeks.

I can only guess that you need to buy a license or something for the QQ.key?
Even with the language pack nothing coherent is showing, coupled with CFABC being a marketplace.

I'll stick to our editor. It works fine.

That QQ editors only additional feature (not mentioning what it lacks in comparison to c#) is that you can test play the maps in the editor in player mode.

Nice maps, especially like the gold all over as it makes it stand out.

However i do like the outdoor maps more, so if you have any of those to show my eyes ^

Sorry, I don't

I haven't done anything since I last poked my nose around LOMCN months ago.
Just these, over the last few days.

when I launched it first time, it asked for it, but it launched OK on second try. Not sure if clicking on that 'key' file QQ56823565.key helped, windows asked me what program I want to open it with... I suppose it just works on second try.

What 'language pack'? The editor is solid Chinese at my end, I wish it had some basic English like Xiyue map editor has.

I don't care enough to try again, honestly. It's already been deleted.
I usually have the server/client running with the map on another monitor anyway, a simple @mapmove refreshes any changes as I go.

The language pack comment isn't relevant, I was tired.

Actually I did do some more (Don't think I showed this before. Sorry if I did)

I made pretty good progress on one of the Numa areas. (Going to finish off the southern part tonight)
Relatively happy with it, in comparrison, if i remember right the bulk was done in just a couple of hours one evening.

Yes, more desert type stuff... just a couple of shots and position context.

Nice map for war if populated sparsely by strong mobs you need to solo one at a time. The plentiful clumps of shrubs offer maneuvering space.
