my merc 200e is idlen at 1500 rpm and ive checked all air hoses etc for leaks n they all seam fine, slakend off throttle n tightend n adjusted tickover, i get it down to 750 but but it resets its self back to normal cos its electronic :(, is the only way gonna be taking it to garage and getting it put on the diagnostics or any1 know other ways of sorting it out.?

Even diagnostics aren`t 100% it lists posabilities. Obviously it should be around 1000 - 1100 rpm, have you checked the air flow?

EDIT.

Just seen that you have, so don`t know.

Good luck getting it fixed.

If you have a problem with a Merc, take it to Merc. Any work carried out on a Mercedes which goes wrong is not covered unless the work is carried out by Mercedes themselves, this is a fact.
