Silly question but have you tried the Troubleshooter tool? Simply disabling the adapter and reenabling can often help

Some other commands you can try:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset

Let me know how you get on

Check if it's configured to obtain an IP/dns automatically.

Can you do ipconfig /all with both ethernet and wifi enabled and post the results?

Yes, then if you click the icon in the top left corner of the cmd window you can go to Edit > Select All and then copy and paste it here

edit: oh i see i thought you had a wifi connection on your pc too lol. When did it stop working then?

In the network Properties untick IPv6

Then run these commands

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Might have to restart pc

If that doesn't work then you could try setting a manual IP address but I don't know enough about your network to give you specifics

Or just throw it out the window

You can add me on discord it's just Tai

You'll need to get an app on your phone called Network Scanner

Also have you logged in to your router to check everything is running ok?

Have you plugged the cable in ?

Are you sure the cable works?

Maybe check the Hub/Router settings to check the DHCP settings?

Happened to me before with similar issue plus my wifi didn't show any avail wifis that i can connect, i googled it and this worked out for me:
Device manager> find your network adapters>right click on the one with wireless>update it or re-enable after disabling.

Pretty sure it's a hardware issue as I think he's using powerline extenders and also his xbox wouldn't connect either :p

weird, the only time I ever know of ethernet not working, is because the drivers aren't installed...

if you got an iPhone(prob works on android) tether the connect to the pc -.- an try get someone on teamviewer to help ya ;)
