graphics cards £150 budget

been looking at the nvidia 660( <link) is it worth the cash or could i get better going with an amd. currently have a 9800GT thats over clocked so anything in the last 2 years is gonna be a massive jump lol

Splurge and get the GTX 770. Make sure your motherboard can handle this type of gpu before getting it ofc.

Won't need to buy another graphics card for years tbh.

what power supply do you have? personally i would get the gtx 670 isnt a massive performance difference between 670-770 and it uses 60watts less than 770 plus costs less

so the motherboard is pci-ex so you can buy any pci-ex with no problems..

tbh i would point on buying a used vga because with 150£ you can get a very good deal and have a card which really performs better (even though it will probably consumes some watts more than a new one)

for instance for my brother I bought for 120€ (100£) a nvidia geforce 295 gtx which performs slightly better than a R9 270X

i guess with 150£ you can buy a used 590gtx which performs much better than a new 660gtx.. only issue is that it would consume around 350W compared to the 150W of the new chip
