I used a download to get the game and it was via 28800 modem I think. Took ages.

I recall something about install CD being available at the time, I guess you had to pay something to get it sent? Was for those with poor internet dial up connection, for whom the download would fail or who didn't want to tie up phone line for too long > LOL
Must be shed load of those CDs somewhere. Makes me wonder if some of the mir GN staff might have files with backed up user database at home today. Would have been a breech of employee protocol but I wouldn't put it past Italians. Better still would have been backed up database near the time of the final gates closing, was it around 2010? That would have been US based mir2, can't recall the company name right now.
Did we start where we left on on GN files with offices in Milan or was it clean new start from lev1?
