Helo in some thing plz

hiya all,
i tried to edit some things merchant files in this path (../Envir/Market/QuestDiary/..)
but after i edited some things in this .txt files and checked them ingame i found that no thing edited although i edited them in .txt files

any sugestion plz??:confused1:

"Some things"? You're going to have to be more specific if you expect any replies.

if you mean the text file in that directory... it would of been 'merchant.txt' if your trying to put in an npc you will need to edit more than a text file =P.. like tai said, if you provide a little more info, you can be helped.

i wanted to edit the items which merchants selling
..eg
in GeneralItem.txt in market folder
i removed some items and added another items for selling
but when i opened the server and checked the merchants which uses this file (GeneralItem.txt) i found that nothing changed and this merchants still selling old things which i removed from .txt file
i hope i explained the idea cus iam not good enough in English

Delete the contents of your Market_Saved and Market_Prices folder, then reload server.

scripts in the quest diary are not used... they are call scripts..

if u want to edit what a npc sells.. locate that npc script in market_def, open it up, and edit it...

as i know every time when u edit a npc you need to register it again in the DB in Merchant.txt ..delete it and add him again it should work ..
