Beta will roughly be a couple of weeks before launch lasting a week so we can get feedback and make possible changes to the server before releasing.

Crafting is in game, we have decided that we really want to utilise this feature and have decided to implement it
All of these have there own maps and are customised to what loot you will get from doing each of them.

Standard Caves
Your typical usual caves that you would go to hunt in, you may find some differences
between the same enemies having different strength, keep an eye on your health!

Group Caves
We decided to make group caves actually feel like group caves, don't expect to be able to go to these places
without a decent group. These caves can drop some of the best items through the game, at least to an extent.
So gear up, grab your friends and wreck havoc for some sweet loot!

Awakening
We have put our own area in specifically done for awakening items.

Event Map
GM's can do events as they please by just one click or if we want to change things up we may host our own
type of event for players to enjoy.
However there are chests on this map that spawn every 6 hours that give various different loot.

Books
We have decided to put a little twist on books, pages drop throughout the game and you can use these pages to
make books for your class. Full books also drop and if you don't need that particular book you can exchange
it for some additional pages.

Quests
These have been put in game but not flustered throughout the game, the quests aren't vital but you will be
rewarded nicely for your efforts.

Pets
We have decided to put a little twist on this, meaning that EVERY class has access to pets. This isn't as
crazy as you may think though, there are incredibly rare stones that drop through out the game for certain
classes. Of course Tao pets will always be the strongest. however we thought it may be nice that each class
has a helping hand. You will have to find these for your self and see what they are like. Can you be the
first one to find the Multi Class AoE pet though?

Spells
Usual spells are in game, and we have decided to add some extra to each classes, alongside that
we have taken some spells from the archer and given certain spells to classes too.
I will update this with a spell list for each class when we are more confident with what spells each class will
have and the level they need for it.

Secrets
There are a few secrets throughout the game.. Can you find them all and get lucky?

Disclosure:
This is a server created by 3 people that have had a passion for Mir for many years.
We have collaborated all of our ideas together to make a hopefully enjoyable server for the community to play.
We plan to make this server long term and hosted by us from home.
There is some slight humour throughout the game that we hope you may all get a little giggle from too, so
keep your eyes peeled.
This server has not been made to be easy. Expect a challenge throughout and prepare yourself for what lies
ahead. Rules are rules and we will stick to the rules we have put in place. We will NOT be playing
favouritism so don't try sweet talking us as it will not get you anywhere, we are all here to have fun
and enjoy a long lived game.

Please increase the power of Tao pets, so tao can solo hunting. Otherwise, not friendly to tao.

The survivability of all classes have been thought out. If a Tao gets a Pet Stone for their class they will be accompanied quite well. I forgot to add that the Pets from these stones increase in stats every 10 levels, but that is for players to find out how good they are. I repeat we haven't made this server to be easy, but we haven't made it to where you can't do anything either. The way we see classes are as follows. Warrior (Tank) - Wizard (Multi Target DPS) - Taoist (Support) - Assassin (Single Target DPS)

Is that possible to make the moving smooth? Like the artificial mir 2?
The movement is as it usually is and it feels smooth enough when playing.

In artificialmir, there is a feature called "smooth cam". By choosing that, the moving between steps will have no flashing (lagging). I mean can you please add this function? Also, will you make this server a "NO-HERO" server? Thank you.

We will look into it. How ever whether it is a feature we will use is currently undecided. Also there will be no heroes in this server, we personally don't like heroes, therefore they will not be added.

I was going to make a thread about hero’s but I felt it was pointless; instead as you have mentioned how you dislike hero’s (im with you here!) .

why do server admins feel the need to have hero’s? It totally goes againsts all gameplay mechanics.

Mir has a simple structure for the way players flinch/step/walk after hit. Having a hero will destroy the way skills are used to get away from mobs/players. (WArrior dash, wizz repulse, Tao hide/repulse/trap hex).

this is one of the reasons servers always fail they spend too much time on oversized flashing items - that add nothing to the actual game play instead they should be spending the time on what makes mir unique from AAA/3D mmo games.

Agree! Exactly why 3DS all the way beat PSV, although PSV is much more powerful than 3DS in all specs. Hope this server could be a slow and long-lasting server. Also, a little suggestion. For those later join players, it will be interesting to set up a exp boost for them. For example, level of No. 1 player is level 30, then all players with 5 less level (level 25) than him will get 2 exp bonus for 1 hour per day. 10 level less players (lvl lower than 20) will have 2 exp bonus for 2 hour per day. So, new players could feel free to join.

I see your point about hero's, however i feel different people have different views on what they want in their server.. I mean they are the ones making it right? Admittedly i feel hero's destroys a server quickly therefore i don't play servers with them. People have preferences so i can appreciate that.

Don't worry about the new players joining at a later date, we already have in mind what we would like to do on that front, and yes they will still be starting at level one, but they will end up having a slight catch up xp rate upon joining, we want this server to be a long lasting server. We still want to reward those that have been playing for the longest to keep them on top of the leaderboard, so catch up xp will NOT be insane, i feel it's wrong to have someone that's recently joined take over someone thats put a big effort into the server over a 3 month period, catch up xp is something we plan on in the future but i repeat it will not be insane.

I can't confirm a beta date yet. We still have quite a bit to do but work is being progressed daily, once i'm a bit more sure on a month of release i will most likely post

Love the idea of doing more with crafting, hopefully there aren't too many bugs creeping around with it.

Most servers recently seem to struggle with getting crafting npc's to work and not break!

Any update? I am eager to play ya. lol.
I will update as we go along with the process of continuing to add stuff to the server however we have come to somewhat of a "change" that we are undecided with. I will update with more as time goes on.

Thank you, with the amount of experience I've got with playing Mir itself i have come across bugs / exploits in the past, so in the process of us adding content to the server. I'm purposely trying to exploit things that we add in hopes that there is no exploit to be found.
