(You won’t be killing hens and scarecrows like usual...instead it’s straight into a new raid style system where you choose your class role each time...as either Jungler, Support or Summoner. With brand new stats replacing MC/DC/SC - SpellPoints, DestructPoints and BlessedPoints - SP/DP/BP)

I dont understand. As in new servers should be forced to stay open for x months?

If server is good, people enjoy it and is running smooth surely it will naturally have a good duration?

So only servers popping up and going are the opposite which you would want to disappear

The best answer i can give to this is every GM aims to make a server that has enjoyment and as much of lifespan as possible.

Closed Alpha phase is intended this month and you can participate by joining the Sparta Discord and liking the Alpha post in the Alpha channel.

I will aim to then hold an open beta this year and live to follow on when I see fit.

It is good to see people taking their time with stuff these days, I remember it just used to be who could pop servers up the quickest.

Mine is becoming a huge labour of love at the moment!

Sounds dumb, yes.

Server duration depends on many variables. Some good servers don't last, some bad ones last more than they should. You can aim to run a server forever but then someone releases something new and you're doomed.

The good thing is you can check what other servers people had. You can see how long they stayed alive, what people thought about them, how the GM handled everything, etc.
