Looked at this ages ago, when it was 'new'.
Honestly, it looks terrible. Crystal seems smoother. The animations and monster movements look horrendous.
It's been playable for years via purchase from their website, with generally bad reviews, but understandably 'in development'. Especially all of the recent 'ready for steam' changes. Basically, they have been supported by backers & players for the 6 years of development, and now the players/cash has dried up. They u-turned on their 'cosmetics only' promise and added a GS.
The steam release is just a cash-grab. Buy-to-play + a 'premium' (P2W) sub... with a GS to boot.
- It's a F2P business model, with a B2P price tag to start. Which work for games like BDO or WoW, that is in-depth and polished. Not for in-development kick-starter 'Looks like i made this in my spare time' games.
