memory problems

im not very good when it comes down to hardware but i think sumits up.

well i bought 512 pc133 sdram few days ago put it in works fine can play planetside lagless etc but before i checked by setup screen and i think it said my other ram was pc100 or sumit im guessing this is speed?

Does this means my new ram isnt gonna do much or i might have some problems.

sorry if it sounds vain but im not good at hardware as i said :P

Yea

100 and 133MHz on the RamSticks.

If ur using the PC133 and PC100 sticks at the same time, then the speed of them will be limited to PC100.

If not, then maybe ur motherboard only supports up to PC100.

check ur bios and ur old ram. change settings. make sure u check old ram first to be 133
