Won't work with our Data as it's been converted to Mir2 format. You'd need the matching Mir 3 version. The maps themselves are pure Mir3 maps though so anything you make with Mir 3 data should work.

Okay, I downloaded the full Mir3 client and am now using that.

Could someone please tell me the most efficient way of laying down base floor tiles in a random format to look more natural.

Might be a silly question but any possible chance Mir2 format maps might be converted into Mir3 format in the distant future to open up more choice for map making?

Coly, I think I've found an error:

There you can see a Tile with ID 12532, but in the lib view in the bottom, it only gets to 3362.

Could you see it?

has some 1 got the d3dx9_33.dll file? its not in the download and i carnt run the map editor with out it thanks

Is there a guide on how to use this program?
I run it and open a .map file from mir3 maps and nothing appears?
Where am i going wrong?

my system is windows vista so probably does not work

I believe the tile is free, so wrong / fake information on this tile...

Hi,
any idea why the maps are all patchy when i open them in the map viewer?
It's like the tiles are missing / not loading although i can see the map perfectly fine ingame...

I think that u need the last libs, ask to chinaboy, maybe he has new lib files.

you need the files snow/tiles5c.wil snow/tiles5c.wix

But both the maps and tiles i have are from the same Chinese client.
Ideally the tiles should be correct?
(In game the tiles are fine).

Not 100% sure what's up with it, it used to create iil & iix in all folders but now only snow folder,
so now unable to read any tile really from anywhere rendering new maps being made.
possible for an update please on dll?

at first, you graka setup is ok, no problem here...

ok then check this all :

- the MapEditor is located in the same directory as the Mir3.exe?
- the Client you use is a Mir3 Client?
- the Client you use is using WIL / WIX texture file?
- you have convert all texture file to iil / iix ?
