music in game

can someone plz leave a little guide on how to change music files in game, the other explanations on here are bit outdated and one asks for wemade in program files which i dont have anymore
i tried putting a song in the the wav file and changing the name of it to log_in_long2
but it dont seem to work a little guide would be very helpfull

Firstly it must be a .wav file or I don't think it will play.
I know it works because I changed the log in, char selection screen, and on death music by simply renaming .wav files already in the client.
And log_in_long2 should be Log-in-long2
