Does anyone still play these?

Just an image below of Commander Keen Episode 1 which is a fun game when you want to kill time.



Anyone else nostalgic of such types of games?

I know 3D took over with popularity. There was Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake and ascending. But these above games are still enjoyable. Need that time to kill as a stress relief!

Can't play them these days though.

Mario, Sonic, Dizzy, Bubble Bobble, Boulder Dash, Kirby, Donkey Kong.

I just can't get into them like I used to.
I play them for a few minutes and give up.
They are also ******* solid. No idea how I completed some of them as a kid. I get frustrated when playing them now!

There's other games that came out over the years.

Some of the above can take just maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete

Cosmo's adventures and Duke Nukem were ones i had growing up!

I have probably played only one platform game, Prince of Persia II. It was also one of few games I got to the end scene and without any help. Played it on Macintosh that was known for much nicer graphics than PCs





While looking for these screenshots, I found out there is a remake of this for Android
