Private Server

Hello friends, I was wanting to host a little private server but have absolutely no idea on what I need to do or what I need. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a very basic set up or dedicated host or whatever it is, I'll need to do so. I have my own file set that I will use, I am just not familiar at all with dedicated hosts and what not. All info would be appreciated, thanks!

You should start by checking the Crystal Files subforum. There's a pretty good tutorial on how to start and many others that are helpful.

If you need a dedicated server as well, just do a quick search, there are several threads about them.

If you are wanting others to connect in you will also need to understand how to setup a port forward on your home network (if you intend to host there)
