.::Raised Tri-Color Text::.
1) First, create a document around 300 pixels wide and 150 pixels high.
2) Next type whatever text you want this effect applied to.
3) Select the text with the move tool, hold ALT, and press the up arrow key three-six times. This should create a new layer each time, thus deepening the text.
4) Next highlight the top layer and select the color you want the top to be from the colors palette.
5) Now highlight the second layer from the top and make that a light color, such as white.
6) OPTIONAL: You may repeat step number 5 on the third layer from the top, depending on how many times you duplicated the original layer. You may also want to play around with the colors of the individual letters as well. See examples below.
