Legend of Mir 3 is one of the few programs that I'm unable to run with wine. I was very, very close but nope, that launcher ****s me up.
Anyway. So I have a Windows XP virtualized and it works as expected except for the performance. I've got a pretty new and powerful laptop (i7 7700HQ, 16GB of RAM, Nvidia 1050TI, etc). It is like 1000 times better than the P4 I used years ago to play Mir. The problem is, once I run the game it starts heating like if I was playing an AAA game. It's not the VM, I've tested that. I can run several VM without noticing it but as soon as Mir launches...
Any idea what could be the problem here?
