every time i log on to windows the windows folder pops up and it is quite annoying. i am on windows 98, any1 know how to get rid of it plz? ty

for one do a virus/trojan/spyware search on
trendmicro
if it finds spyware or whatnot on there and the scanner/remover cannot remove it double click the virus/trojan/spyware and follow what it says to delete it
P.s do you leave your windows folder open when you restart? if so that could be the problem

or check ctrl + alt + delete for any unecesary processes 
if there is any, end them.. but be careful what you do disable. Always best to check first. To remove them from startup. Start > run > msconfig > selective startup
